Telnet command to refresh media?

Postby Nalco » Wed May 02, 2012 5:54 pm

I am running a WD Live Plus with 1.03.49_B-WDLXTV-Plus-0.4.7.3.

I have all my media on a NAS, and stream everything using Hanewin NFS.

Whenever I add new movies to my NAS, I have to reboot my Live Plus in order to get them to show up.

I know there is a telenet command to refresh moviesheets without having to reboot, and I was wondering if there is a telnet command to do the same for refreshing newly added media.

Just curious.

Thanks!

The command is
Code: Select all
linksheets /path/to/nfs/mount

Thanks, I didn't realize the linksheet command would refresh movies as well.

Thanks!

linksheets does linksheets only

I've never had to refresh my actual media

because simply exiting to menu and re-entering the media browser will refresh

If accessing through a network share, new movies automatically show up.

For some reason now that I am using Hanewin NFS, I have to reboot the box to get new movies to show up.

Maybe I have something set up incorrectly.

that's more likely an issue with hanewin than anything else

you might try to stop / restart hanewin

Never thought of restarting hanewin.

Thanks!, I will try that the next time I add something new.
