How Can I change menu icons?

Hi,

I upgraded the custom firmware of my WD LIve to tle last version. But the menu icons has dissapeared. The menu only shows the options (Video, Music, Config, etc) with text, but I can't see the icons of each one.

When can I found these icons? Maybe the path of them change? Or is possible to change it to show my own icons and put another images?

Make sure you are not using an incompatible version of the osd.bin file on a USB disk.

Well, the disk is the same that I had with the previous version, and it works with another versions. This issue only appears with the last brad version of the firmware. Maybe the path of the icons changed?

Anyway, to confirm that the paths of the icons are correct, I think that maybe is possible to change or specify this path. Is possible? To change the menu icons, for example, to another ones.

Like RMerlin said: You need an osd.bin for your firmware version!
osd.bin for 1.02 firmware won't work with newer firmwares (1.03+) and vice versa.

I have the latest version of osd.bin too. Is the correct for my firmware version (I think).

•WDlxTV Live: 0.5.1.1
•osdModLive 0.25

But anyway, my question is the same... Supose that the firmware and the osd are correct. How to change the menu icons? How can I specify the path of owner images from these icons? Or isn't possible?

You'd need to edit the osd.bin or create a new one.
Have a look at the forum and the wiki how to do this.

Regarding OSD Mod Live can you give us a link where you got it? Doesn't sound like an osd mod that was recently updated for 1.03+ firmwares...

Thanks recliq. Only two questions... This version is for WD TV Live, o only WD TV?

Anywhere, I put this files in the root of my disk but the menu don't change. I see the same wdlxtv menu, not the osdmod version. What I'm doing wrong?

My bad, it seems the your version (0.25) is the right one for WD TV Live...
I'm gonna test it the next days here.
