Are you using the WD Autores feature? Maybe this is the reason, try disabling it and see if the problem persists.

I use:
Video Output: HDMI
Display Resolution: 1080p 50Hz (tried everything else)
Color Space: Auto

What settings do you have in there?

Hello, i installed the firmware and the WD logo during the booting is cutted in the top and right side.
Is there a way to correct or substitute this image?

Hello.

A little question to the Professionals!
When i go through the moviesheets the sheets look really great (as long the picture is good quality of course).
But the covers at the buttom (see the picture) looks not so good. Even when i took the good covers with 1000x1500 in Thumbgen.



Is that normal or could i change that problem somehow.

Please give me an answer! Very thanks.

Sorry recliq. I have searched for cover quality.

But like i understood i should create a folder named thumbDB.
See the picture.



But there is nothing in the folder and i dont see an improvemant.
Must i set something else? I dont find a good answer in the links!

You need to read more carefully...
The folder needs to be named:

.thumbDB

notice the difference?

PS: Creating this folder is not enough to get high quality thumbsyou also need to run the genThumbs script. Read the complete second thread, it's all in there.

I tried befor but i cant make folders mit "." at the beginning in windows, or?

Ok recliq it worked with the folder, but i plug the wdtv completely out at night (no energy).
And when i turned it on again its all gone. Is there a way to do it permanently?

If its also said in the article i appologize, but i cant see it. What can i do?

Edit:
I tried to leave the WDTV on the plug and only turn it out with the remote (standby)
but when the drive turn out (cause i dont wanna run it all time) the datas are gone!
