Does exist the possibility to enable "reboot" function in "WDTVExt Plugins" (in Xmass version)?

PS:Sorry if i not found similar post.

these are the known bugs to me
from wdtvext menu reboot is not working (could not find why it is broken as this part of code I have not touched). But reboot works from mn ds-lite tools.

during video playback if you press left and right arrow you should get display of subtitle sync it is working but it is not displaying info. to see how much time you moved subs
you should press options and then subtitle off and on. (This is something I can fix)

@goofy99
when playing video press search(zoom) button to go through MN modes (JUMP, REMAINDER,SUBTITLES DOWNLOAD ...) unil it gets to ds-lite then press OK and scroll down to RebootWD and press OK and OK on option yes.

sorry for your troubles but lets try sort it out.
1. if you want your xmount to show under Video/USB1 there are two ways:
simpler one is to have usb stick connected to WDTV
the other possibility is to enable fakeUSB on WEC system VirtualUSB drive (that way you do not need any USB sticks connected to WDTV).
This should solve problem of your share dir not showing.

2.dslite not showing could be that it has wrong EOL char if it is edited in windows notepad.
solution is to download Notepad++ editor edit the file in it and on menu edit check that EOL conversion is set to UNIX format.
Filezilla also must have an option when transfer to change EOL char when transfering from windows to linux(WDTV)
also change permisions to 755

3. now on rw and ro which started all troubles
first in WEC you should under system tools run mount table
in windows that opens there is a list of mount points
/tmp/media/usb/USB1/SharedVideos is the one that should be rw for subt. download to work
post what you get there for further help

zmiki, you don't have to be sorry, I am the (not so) noob here ;-)

Good news, everything seems to be working now !
Here is what I did eventually.

1 - I plugged back my USB key so that I could concentrate on my other problems (I don't mind having a USB key permanently at the back of my WD).

2 - I removed all configuration with the rm -r /conf/* above.

3 - I flashed again with your FW

4 - I downloaded the newly created DSLITE.dslite file to my PC (with FileZilla) and carefully edited it in Notepad++ to add the ToggleShareRW section.

(I made sure Edit > EOL Conversion > "UNIX format" was greyed meaning it's currently selected)

5 - I uploaded the net.mounts and toggleShareRW.script to /conf

6 - Reboot

7 - Went to Videos > "Local drives" to launch a movie off my NAS and was able to download a sub that was successfully written to my NAS :)

FYI
. Here is the Mount Table (with my USB key back):

Mount point: /tmp/media/usb/SharedVideos
Device: 192.168.0.2:/nfs/Public/SharedVideos
Options: rw,vers=3,rsize=16384,wsize=16384,hard,nolock,proto=udp,timeo=7,retrans=3,sec=sys,addr=192.168.0.2

The rw (and probably the other options) comes from my net.mounts file because I did not have to use the ToggleShareRW.script with ds-lite in the MNv4.

Note : before doing all this, I noticed that when I chmod'ed DSLITE.dslite through Filezilla (from 644 to 755) and then rebooted, it would revert to 644 :?

Anyway all seems fine now, thanks to your precious help.
I'm going to donate ASAP for the good work and the quick support :D

I have two WD TV Live HD players, and on the both is installed XMASS version. Because, this is FW that i want, and i'm happy. Thanx zmiki again.

But, appear the problem. Last night i watch the movie and all woks fine, but this morning i turn on WD TV live and on the loading logo, WD is freeze, remote not working. I don't know what's going on :( then i doing plugout cable than plugin, and happens the same thing.

First, i plug out both USB flash drive from WDTV Live. And try to turn "on" WDTV Live without USB flash drive, and WDTV Live works fine. After that, my suspicion is concetrate on USB flash drives (both is on FAT32)

After researching what might to be, i tested (one of two, which was inserted in WDTV) USB flash drive on my PC, and windows shows the message that i must the "format drive". Now, what causing this problem about this USB flash drive? With other USB flash drive no problem about that.

Other WDTV live works fine, and no problem.

And one more thing, does is required everytime safetly remove USB flash drive from WDTV? Because, sometimes i remove USB flash when is WDTV live turn off, and i don't know does is causing any problem about sticks or WDTV Live.

EDIT: Today i format "problematic" USB Flash drive, and insert again in WD TV LIve with some movies, and tested few times with "power On" and "power Off" function and works good, movies play fine, but when i safetly remove this "problematic" USB flash drive and turn OFF WDTV LIve, WDTV is turned off, but all LED's is ON, and i can't again turn "ON" WDTV, remote is freeze :(

PS: Sorry on my bad english
