As an idea (it worked for me when my S00options file didn't), pull up your SSH terminal and type the command in by hand

config_tool -c USB_POWER_OFF=1

Then test the results. You may want to reboot first.

Just an idea from a noob.

Thanks a lot, I'll try it! Btw, is this a known problem with the newest fw, or is it just on my device?
P.S. I guess it is not only on my device, I saw one more user with the same problem on this thread...

No, still doesn't work. I think none of this is enabled on my device (or at least I don't know how to check the status for some of them - such as root.bin, optiware or app.bin). I know I haven't started any of those services after upgrade...
## this action is prevented by the following:
## - root.bin active
## - OSD Theme active
## - Optware active
## - app.bin active
## - Deluge or NZBget enabled
How can I assure that none of those services are active?

After I updated I am having a minor issue with my movie sheets.

When browsing "folders" I will go through my first 8 movie sheets, then on the 9th, I briefly (1-2 seconds) see all 8 small thumbnails of the next 8 movies, then it opens the 9th sheet. The next 8 sheets browse smoothly, then once I get to the 17th sheet, again, I briefly see all 8 small thumbnails for the next 8 movies. I was able to go through all movie sheets (200+) on the last firmware just fine, this one is giving me this thumbnail issue. Again, not a big deal, just a little quirk that I would like to resolve if possible.

Hallo,

Thank you very much for this software.
In previewmode I experience auto framerate problems. The movies are playing correctly but switching back to the OSD memu gives the same framerate as the movie just played. Some times
its'working as it should and then suddenly it stays at played movie frame rate.
Clearly you can see in preview mode that the software is switching until the right framerate. Also I experienced that it looks like that the movie is playing, due to sound, but not showing properly
in preview screen.
With listmode I haven't had any issues yet.

Marcel.

Updated this last night. Did not do anything except an update (no restoring factory defaults, etc.).

    - No drives were mounted with my existing net.mounts file
    - Rebooted a few times, and still the same
    - Opened up a terminal, and issued the xmount command for one share (out of 5)
    - Magically, all 5 shares were shown mounted with that one command
    - Subsequent reboots always load the shares => total weirdness, but if it works, then I don't care
    - I *wish* osdMod was available. Nothing else compares to me in the color scheme.
    - Took about 5 minutes before the option to browse plugins appeared. But yet again, the subtitle plugin doesn't seem to work for me. An amazing idea if I could get it to work!

Updated last night and it is great. I love the auto sub downloader!!! It helps a lot.
But...I used deluge previously, and even though Rtorrent looks very complete, I cannot get it to work.
I can see the webclient, and I can add torrents and it start downloading, but when I power cycle the torrent dissapears.
I tried to follow all the steps as stated, but obviously I am doing something wrong.

These are my settings so far:

in S00custom-options:
config_tool -c RTORRENT_DIR=/tmp/media/usb/USB2/40284A46284A3AE4/.downloads

In WDLXTV Webend-->Rtorrent config:
/tmp/media/usb/USB2/40284A46284A3AE4/.downloads

In rTorrent webclient-->default directory for downloads:
/tmp/rt/rtorrent/.incomplete

in telnet:
# grep RTORRENT_DIR /conf/config
RTORRENT_DIR='/tmp/media/usb/USB2/40284A46284A3AE4/.downloads'
# ls -la /tmp/rt
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 4 Dec 31 21:00 /tmp/rt -> /tmp
#

Am I doing something wrong? I really need some help here, I use wdtv a lot to download torrents...
Thanks!!!

hi b-rad
i updated to 0.4.2.2... Works perfectly :D :D :D

I have only one small problem, in paragraph umsp, if I have put the preview mode, there are elements not shown, they are simply a blank line, if I use the list mode, if they appear, which do not appear are those accents . In Spanish there are words that use them.
however, there are other plugins that if they operate properly.
the truth is that there is no big problem.

the 3 most interesant features for me:
1-WDTVExt MediaNavigation
2-Umsp using to view spanish movies/doc/tv shows
3-Eiri

About eiri: i think that is a good idea, using eiri to add one button of another remote infrared, using the eriri.conf or adding a command to make the action of the plugins volumecontrolosd, medianavigation, SubDownloader,...

thanks your work and the work of all the comunity.

I haven't changed my xmounts for a long long time and it does work in that I can watch videos.
So not trying to fix anything that I am aware of but I am wanting to be sure what I have is in accordance with the newer firmware updates.

xmount 10.10.10.40:/music music nfs tcp,rsize=32768,wsize=32768
xmount 10.10.10.40:/music_videos music_videos nfs tcp,rsize=32768,wsize=32768
xmount 10.10.10.40:/movies_a-m movies_a-m nfs tcp,rsize=32768,wsize=32768
xmount 10.10.10.40:/movies_n-z movies_n-z nfs tcp,rsize=32768,wsize=32768
xmount 10.10.10.40:/television television nfs tcp,rsize=32768,wsize=32768

Is this still correct ?
