As an idea (it worked for me when my S00options file didn't), pull up your SSH terminal and type the command in by hand
config_tool -c USB_POWER_OFF=1
Then test the results. You may want to reboot first.

No, still doesn't work. I think none of this is enabled on my device (or at least I don't know how to check the status for some of them - such as root.bin, optiware or app.bin). I know I haven't started any of those services after upgrade...
## this action is prevented by the following:
## - root.bin active
## - OSD Theme active
## - Optware active
## - app.bin active
## - Deluge or NZBget enabled
How can I assure that none of those services are active?
