Hi,

First of all thanks very much for this firmware - absolutely amazing what you guys create! I'm wondering if anyone else has come across the following issue I'm seeing.

After a cold boot everything works fine, I can play all my videos, stop and resume and so on. If I power down the wdtv live using the remote control (Sleep mode I guess) and then power it up again any video I will play firstly takes a minute or so to start playing but then the remote does no longer respond and I either need to unplug the power or reboot via the web interface. AutoRes is not turned on (as this is known to cause this type of issue), however I've found that if I disable MediaNavigation v4 this problem disappears.

I've got a .wdtvext-plugins directory on the USB stick in USB2 but even if I delete this directory with MediaNavigation turned on the issue happens. Could anyone give me some clues which log files I should look at or maybe if I have to manually configure something for MediaNavigation to work correctly?

Thanks very much

Deleting MN from .wdtvext-plugins folder will do nothing because MN is included in the flash. You can disable it in WEC though.

Thanks recliq, I didn't mean I deleted it from .wdtvext-plugins, I disabled it through the web interface, however I would love to have the media navigation functionality so my question is how can I troubleshoot the plugin? Is there some kind of debug mode or any log file I could look at?

Thanks,

Hi, maybe I am stupid but I can not make my WDTV Live to see this update on the flash drive. I used to have 1.05.04_V-WDLXTV-Live-0.5.1.1.
Then I have flashed it with latest official one and still device doesn't see the update on the flash drive.
What is the proper way to install it?

I had the same problem as you. Somewhere I read (not in this forum) that symbol "_" is a problem. So I rewrote "1.02.21.WDLXTV_LIVE-0.5.1.6" to "1.07.21.WDLXTV.LIVE.0.5.1.6" in wdtvlive.ver. This note should be in wdlxtv wiki too because Ive spent a lot of time on this flash (it was my first).

Or you just need another usb drive.

Thanks for the tip - it didn't help :( I have tried all two drives I have at home - no result. Strange that I could get flashed to official and 1.05.04 with them, but can not flash this particular one  Could it be a problem downgrading from 1.05.04?

UPD: I have fixed the problem - files were broken during unzipping :) Thanks dzebrys
