Set USB-DVD speed for less noise

Well

a so wanted feature request for the gen1 users that use also a usb-dvd. Just the adjust the drive read speed to avoid noise. Because the 1x speed is enough to read DVD-Video.

I tried by telnet to use the follow:

eject -x N /dev/cdrom

N = 0, 4, 8, 16, 32, 48
But the X paramter dont exist.

hdparm -E* /dev/usbdev1.1

* = 0,4,8,16,32,48

but i obtained the follow in all the usbdevs:
# hdparm -E4 /dev/usbdev2.1
setting cdrom speed to 4
CDROM_SELECT_SPEED failed: Inappropriate ioctl for device
setting dvd streaming speed to 4
dvd speed setting failed: Inappropriate ioctl for device

i am sure that b-rad can do it !!!
