Understood. This is how it should look (via telnet) (some paths are obviously different:

Code: Select all
root@Deneb:/root# ls -l /tmp/media/usb/USB2/e86ae68f-eb57-4af9-80bc-df6e8fd01144/ffmpeg.app.bin
-rw-r--r--    1 root     root       4489216 Nov 16  2012 /tmp/media/usb/USB2/e86ae68f-eb57-4af9-80bc-df6e8fd01144/ffmpeg.app.bin
root@Deneb:/root# grep ffmpeg /tmp/messages.txt
Jan  1 02:00:31 Deneb user.notice crazymount: ffmpeg app found
Jan  1 02:00:31 Deneb user.notice crazymount: Mounting ffmpeg.app.bin at /apps/ffmpeg
Jan  1 02:00:32 Deneb user.notice crazymount: adjusting LIBPATH: /apps/ffmpeg/lib
Jan  1 02:00:32 Deneb user.notice crazymount: adjusting PATH: /apps/ffmpeg/bin
Jan  1 02:00:36 Deneb user.notice init: Path set to /apps/webscreenshot/bin:/apps/vim/bin:/apps/usb2serial/bin:/apps/randomwallpaper/bin:/apps/python2.7.9/bin:/apps/msdl/bin:/apps/mkvtoolnix_nocomp/bin:/apps/mc/bin:/apps/iftop/bin:/apps/ffmpeg/bin:/apps/devtools/bin:/a

Can you run the "grep ffmpeg /tmp/messages.txt" command after you boot? If nothing is displayed, can you paste the whole file someplace?

It looks good. The app.bin is working. Can you show me a screenshot from the webend?

Happy to do that - what screen would you like - the Addons with ffmpeg shown?

I assume I can copy/paste it into message - is there an image size limit?

Addons with ffmpeg. You can post a link to the picture and host it on imgur for example

Hi,
I have not been able to connect to the forum for a while as it has been unavailable for whatever reason, however the latest on this issue is that plugins/addons work fine except the web gui does not let one change the Status to enabled...

Yes, the forum was down for a while. Please post a picture, maybe I can get an idea of what's wrong. Also please post the contents of /var/log/php5/error_log and /var/log/httpd/error_log (if they exist).

Update: Are you running a flashed firmware or ext3? I remember a permission problem with ext3 firmwares where if you forgot to setuid sudo root, the webend could not apply any setting.
