Sounds like you're using cifs-interceptor. Use xmounts instead. See the wiki for examples and troubleshooting

Hey mad_ady

Thx, i just found out that "recently" the play command itself is not taking special chcaraters (any more ?)

I dont change anything on the System, but when i'm trying to enter "play /tmp/media/samba/Share/Videö.mkv" (ö as special character) via telnet /or ssh it brings up a error message.

The "Play" command seems to not understand special characters too ?

Can somboddy verfy that ?

I don't know. The play command is just a script that passes the file to the DLNA engine. Normally communication via DLNA is done over XML, which requires that the filenames are escaped and don't hold weird characters. You can try to edit the play command (copy it in /tmp and edit it until it works), but I haven't used it directly.

Finally, solved this puzzel

The solution was to bypass the play script by calling direct upnp-cmd on the comand line (telnet)

No Encoding PRoblems with special characters.

Thanks for the help !

Now I have a Fancy WebList-Click Remote Control =D
