What is the SVN

Postby jeepnjeff » Tue Apr 21, 2015 6:54 pm

Sorry for such a basic question. I see the phrase download from SVN on several of my plugins. Im guessing this is why I dont see any media content. What is SVN and how do I access it.

svn = subversion

it's a way to store and track code changes during development

see the link "subversion repo"

generally though you don't need to access svn directly
just go to the WDLXTV webend, and find WAM
which will access svn for you and automatically install app.bin and UMSP plugins

WAM doesn't use SVN anymore, that was when we started it, now all plugins and apps are managed by web repositories (which in turn get auto build from SVN). :ugeek:
