Certain Media files not visible?

Afternoon, sorry if this has been posted before but i was not able to find anything in the search regarding my issue.

The issue is a strange one to me so i am here for help.

I own a WDLIVE, shared from Win 7-Ult

i have complete access to the shared files and the sub-folders, however in one of my folders there are 15 files, 3 out of 15 media files are visible, so it cant be firewalls.

my first thought was codec issues, however, all 3 are a different file types ( mp4. AVI, 33gp ) the 12 other files are mp4.. why the hell are they not there?

i just removed all folders from the network and added them again, turned the device on and off. searched for device updates ect.

Strange... Are you able to view these files from a different system in your network?

Seems you are onto something, it isn't showing up on the ps3 ether,
just checked the files on the pc again, they all work and are all in a shared state, exact same as the other files.

i might just try to re-download them. technology!!!

Have you tried rebooting it?
