How to set new background

Postby wantmore » Sat Apr 17, 2010 1:08 pm

The wiki claims

Simplest way to change the background image is adding your image renamed to villa_bg.jpg (maxsize=524288) to root folder of USB drive.

Yet when I try that nothing happens.

Any suggestions?

If I remember correctly, you also have to tell it to use it. Try this:

Code: Select all
config_tool -c BACKGROUND_IMAGE=villa_bg.jpg

Type it in the shell, or activate it in the S00custom-options file and power-cycle.

Seems to work but only when you have a stick with the image inserted.
Wasn't there a persistent memory on this device?
