/dev/sdb1 on /tmp/mnt/xxxxxxx type vfat (rw,fmask=0000,dmask=0000,codepage=cp437,iocharset=iso8859-1,utf8)
/dev/sdc1 on /tmp/media/usb/USB2/xxxxxxxxxxx type ufsd (rw)
/dev/sigmblockh on / type cramfs (ro)

The correct path to assign to RTORRENT_DIR would be /tmp/mnt/xxxxxxxxxxx

where the xxxxxxxxxxx is the same as in /tmp/media/usb/USB2/xxxxxxxxxxx

wanted to share some nice features of rtorrent - watch directory, Simply put .torrent files in that dir and rtorrent starts downloading them, u done need to add manual torrent, its very effective with multiple torrents. Just a tip, have a nice day.

How can I do the same with a shared drive mounted through net.mounts (xmount \\192.168.1.3\Movies Movies cifs). I have already created a .mnt file inside Movies folder (in my NAS), but I only get this drive mounted in /tmp/media/usb/Movies but nothing in /tmp/mnt/XXXXXX.

What is happening?

Hi there!

I'm not using net.mounts at all, but maybe a solution could be to use the two-tier download system included in rtorrent? Use a (small) USB stick (with the .mnt file that is) as the primary download directory, and when torrents finish, they can be 'staged' to whatever directory on the wd tv (being your xmounted stuff).

Just my 2 cents ;)

Added section to the wiki regarding auto unpacking torrents after download that did not work by default!
