I moved my copy of ThumbGen to my network drive from it's original location which was on my W7 PC. Apparently my Gigabit network is to slow for TG to work correctly, so I decided to copy it back to my W7 PC.
Now though, when I run TG from my PC, everything is reset to its default values/settings. All my personal settings are gone. Yet when I go back to the TG copy on my network drive, my settings are still intact. I understand the config.xml file holds all the personal settings, so I checked in my C:\Users\(User)\AppData\Roaming\ThumbGen folder, but it is empty. So ok, that makes since why my settings are gone, but why does the copy of TG on my network drive still retain my settings?
Where is it finding the config.xml file, and if it's not, then how is it remembering my settings? If it is in the original TG folder, it should be on my W7 PC, because I copied the whole folder. I have search all my drives for it, but found nothing.
This is a mystery to me. Any suggestions?
Thanks
Mike
