sorry to say I can get nothng to work

installed and opened a folder with a movie....then nothing... log area shoes...loading directory and that is it.

Currently MovieSheetGen+ Only supports Folders for movies, I'll include file support in the next release. i.e.

C:\Movies\
|______Action
| |_____22 Bullets
| | |_______22.Bullets.720p.mkv
| |_____Die Hard 4
| | |_______Die.Hard.4[2008]DvDrip.avi
|______Fantasy
| |_____Dragon Wars
| | |_______Dragon Wars.avi
| |_____Terry Pratchets Hogfather
| | |_______Terry Pratchets Hogfather - Disc 1.avi
| | |_______Terry Pratchets Hogfather - Disc 2.avi

In the above example you would point MovieSheetGen+ to the Action or Fantasy folder, the Movie folders will then be listed in the list on the left i.e.

22 Bullets
Die Hard 4

From there you can then select the folder you want to create the moviesheet for.

If your structure is different then let me know and I'll cater for it.

Hi Belatu,

I Downloaded MovieSheetGen+ about a week ago, and have been creating sheets for my collection, first off thanks for a great tool.

You may want to add something to your first post though, it took me two days to realize that I can browse through the folders etc on my drive using the folder list on the left of the screen. once I figured that out it made things a lot easier.

I've got one or two suggestions/requests.
i. The naming etc that I use sometimes does not find the right movie when searching theMovieDB, is it possible to search not only the file name but also the file size/movie time/md5 or something like that?
ii. I have a large number of foreign language movies in my collection, what would be really useful is the ability to download subtitles for them there are a lot of site that have subtitles on the web, maybe you can use one of them to supply subtitles.
iii. Music Sheets... Please!?.

Hi Moviecollector. I'll update the first post as you suggested, it does make sense.

I've already included a Hash based search for movies using moviedb's hash search functionality, it will be in the next release, at the moment it only finds matches for about 35% of files but hopefully with time their hash database will grow.

The subtitles sounds like a good idea, I've had a quick look at the opensubtitle API and it should be easy to do, they also have a large has database that uses the same hash as moviedb uses, so maybe I can leverage it to improve search results..., if I were to implement the subtitle downloads how would you suggest we handle language selection, I'm assuming here that you would allways want to download subtitles in one language?

Music sheets are in the making , please give me some feedback on what you would want from music sheets, what information/structure etc etc...

I keep getting a referral was returned from teh server when I try to start the app. I am on windows 7 32 bit.

Hi ap4000, please try this,

Start -> Run.

Type in GPEdit.msc

Then go to then Computer Configuration -> Security Settings -> Local Policies >- Security Options.

Look for a setting called "User Account Control: Only elevate executables that are signed and validated". Uncheck this and then try again.

The Above change allows UAC to elevate security rights for applications that are not signed. please let me know if this works.

The setting is sometimes enabled and in essence prevents applications that are not digitally signed from escalating their rights on machines with UAC enabled, in this case the application requires escalated rights on certain machines to allow it to create folders and write files. the error you are seeing is usually associated with a non signed application requesting escalated rights on machines with the above mentioned setting enabled, it is strange that it is happening when the setting is disabled.

Could you please download this version and let me know if it resolves the issue?
