Yes, sheetmaker works very well. You might be able to make it run on windows as well (with activeperl), but I'm guessing Imagemagick might be hard to install on windows...

I can then use the TGMD files to make sheets as normal from within Thumbgen.
Anyone know if Sheetmaker is still supported?

Yes, it certainly is - on a part-time basis.

I'm currently working on a new GTK2 version with some added features, while similtaneously developing a QT4 version for MAC users.
Also new versions will be bundled with an optional Movie/TV collection manager (using either SQLite or MySQL as the DB of choice).

After these are released I will be looking at producing a version that can run on Windows.

So yes - still active.

So you could take over from Thumbgen then. Sounds good.

That's not the intention, more like an alternative - we all need choices.
There must be tens of thousands of users of Thumbgen, it must survive. I'm sure someone will pick it up.

remember thumbgen himself admitted that the original design never contemplated thumbgen growing to what it is currently

it just kept getting added to and added to

and as a result, he was contemplating a complete rewrite anyways for v 2.0

so maybe it's best that sheetmaker rise

as a good a program as thumbgen is, maybe it's time for change

It can't really be called an alternative when Thumbgen no longer works.

The only choice we have at the moment is software that doesn't work properly, or nothing! (as far as windows users go anyway).

Don't get me wrong I'm grateful for all the work Thumbgen put in, especially since he implemented features for me personally when I created my Splitsheets pack, but I wish he would come here and let us know what is going on. If he wants some donations to fix the bugs, I'll happily donate! I have got a lot of use out of Thumbgen and didn't pay a penny for it!

I prefer if I can retrieve the complete cast of every episode, keeping the lists separated for every episode; instead of retrieving
the list of episodes..
