To be honest I am very interested in keeping TG alive. But... I already started to think about TG 2.0 having a complete new approach _much_ more flexible and powerful. Therefore I will not add any new features/collectors to the actual ThumbGen app. If there will be a TG 2.0 it will be compatible with the current one (would be stupid to lose so many templates, metadata, etc) but will be better

Sadly right after I started to branch it and think about it I started to run out of free time. TG 0.1 was a simple grabber for covers from amazon.com and I kept adding features without a proper architecture/vision and now I ended up with a Frankenstein

I will just feed the monster to keep him alive but I won't extend its features

The TG Designer needs very few tweaks to make it powerful and flexible, it does not need to be rewritten, I consider it quite ok for manipulating templates.
