I published a new Designer version. It is included in the "autoupdate" process and it will make easier the updates deployment. Not so many new visible things inside (but quite a lot of under-the-hood changes).

The download link will be updated in the first post. Until we have a stable version I will publish the builds only here.

The new version looking good.

Just noticed a couple of things:
The new version of the designer & ThumbGen prevent me getting to the hidden task bar when they are maximised....as happened before I believe.
Also there is no basic template elements in the new zip & I deleted mine before extracting the new one.

It was a bit annoying to get everything how I wanted it earlier and now I have to re-do it.

As I wrote in the opening post this application is meant to be used by the people willing to beta test it and assume its bugs and faults.

Also there is no basic template elements in the new zip & I deleted mine before extracting the new one.

I'll embed them in the exe file and extract automatically if missing (an update will be built in the next minutes)

I published v1.0.8 for the Designer.

Notes:
- inserting an image into an already saved template makes its path relative to the template's path

- added "Move Mode":
-- if off then user can select items in the canvas by clicking the Element Info (the small black rectangle) or by selecting them with the "lasso" (this is the default mode to avoid accidentally moving items around); in this mode the items are "transparent" so user can "click-through" and reach any element's info bar.
-- if on then the user can select/move items (here I have some work in progress to allow selecting multiple items and moving only them by ignoring the zOrder and the other items)

- added "Visibility" for layer (can be switched on/off for item or selected items by clicking the "eye" symbol in the list or via contextmenu)

- other smaller bugfixes

Yes, this is good that the update working.
So because there is no (yet) options. Maybe an automatic update. So no need to do it manually.
Because we are still in 'BETA' testing... we can assume that we all want the last version for testing...
