Since you and me are the only active memebers still around, what do you propose?

Drop by and say hello: http://www.snbforums.com/forums/asuswrt-merlin.42/ :)

@KK: Seeing that I finally reached 4500 posts on this forum, I encourage you to exceed 1000 posts as well (helpful posts, that is). I still have a long (and lonely) way to go to surpass recliq or KAD, however...:)

@kroetkroet
3 more post for the 1000 mark.

congrats on 4500 posts mad_ady

I am no longer active. I don't even use my WDTV anymore but I always liked this forum and the members here....it will be a sad day when/if it closes.

Heck I should look into flashing my box with the latest build. I still like that box but I have moved to Kodi now and it would be hard to move away from it now.

Yeah, I moved away from WDTV earlier this year and when my current player doesn't boot after a kernel update and I'm in a hurry to see a movie with the missus I start up the good old WDTV. However, the sheets are no longer maintained so navigation is horrible compared to what Kodi has shown me. Difficult to return to it, but could be ok for the kids or grandparents :)

Regarding updates - I've been wanting to push a small update for Live/Plus for a few months now. Not a lot of changes, just EIRI support for the stock remote, longer ssh keys for dropbear and the possibility of loading app.bins from internal NAND instead of USB (so that users can build customized firmwares with their desired apps bundled). But I never got time to implement those, so no update this year...

It's had a good run though, and I still see UMSP development in the Russian/Ukranian communities

So you're also on Kodi now. Nice. I love it, and like you, I find it hard to move away from it and back to WDTV.

What forum you do hang your hat in? Kodi.tv is the main Kodi developing site for the firmware but I prefer tvaddons.ag for the addons they provide. Are you developing addons for Kodi yet? If not, will you get into it?
