PLC & Home automation

Postby sejl » Thu Apr 22, 2010 12:48 pm

I have great plc from cybrotech (www.cybrotech.co.uk)... It has a eth connection, and a bunch of software like SCGI server etc...
So, I'm currently running web server with scgi on my wdtvlive, that can turn on/off lights, heating...
I've already written script for XBMC (in python) that has a complete visualization of my home automation elements... hope to do the same with wdtvlive...

Hi,

Trying to archive something similar, with X10 and a USB to Serial X10 CM11 PC Adapter on wdtv

Had this working back on 2004 using Meedio (now MeediOS).

Currently use XBMC running on Ubunto.

Will post my progress.
