[SOLVED] rTorrent error after first day of use

This is the place to ask for how to use software that is (or isn't) included in the various wdlxtv flavours. Questions about software such as rtorrent, NZBGet, sshfs, curlftpfs, ssh, telnet, etc.

[SOLVED] rTorrent error after first day of use

Postby ragd3 » Mon Jan 09, 2012 5:45 pm

Hello,

I am using wdlxtv 1.05.04 firmware since yesterday in a WDTV Live Plus. I also have a USB pendrive 16gb (ext3 formatted because the recommendation included in http://wiki.wdlxtv.com/Main_Page#How_To_Install) connected to WDTV.
I am testing minidlna and rtorrent applications, and also the new features included in this firmware.

Everything were perfect until this morning, where rTorrent started showing these errors:

Web-server can't access torrents directory for read/write/write/execute. You can't add torrents through ruTorrent. (/bi2/share/rutorrent/share/users/wdlxtv/torrents)
Web-server can't access settings directory for read/write/execute. ruTorrent can't save own settings. (/bi2/rutorrent/share/users/wdlxtv/settings)
[more lines of similar errors]
DataDir plugin: rTorrent's user can't access php interpreter. Plugin will not work.

Things I have tried:

- chmod 777 to /bi2/share/rutorrent/share/users/wdlxtv/ and I receive an error "Read-only file system"
- check rTorrent configuration files looking for these paths. I have not found none of these.
- torrents paths are configured under /tmp/mnt/749b4ac2-4bc3-4bcc-9f61-a2ad889d904d/torrents with 777 permissions.

Should I change permissions to theses paths? How I can fix the error "Read-only file system"?
Should I check any other setting?
If the problem persist, is there any way to reinstall rtorrent aplication?

Thanks in advance,
Leonardo
