This is the place to ask for how to use software that is (or isn't) included in the various wdlxtv flavours. Questions about software such as rtorrent, NZBGet, sshfs, curlftpfs, ssh, telnet, etc.
that library is Rar29.so
which is included in the .tgz i provided (it's in the Codecs dir), you need to copy this file to a place where 7z can find it

Uh, it really needs the Codec folder. I only took the file out of it (so without the folder), but it seems that doesn't work.
So, I ran the tests now and here are the results:
- Code: Select all
unrar3.71 unrar4.0 unrar4beta 7zip9.20
Archive1 02:37min. 06:55min. 06:54min. 02:55min.
Archive2 00:40min. 01:45min. 01:45min. 00:45min.
Archive3 03:24min. 09:010min. 09:04min. 03:34min.
So better than unrar4, but no real improvement to unrar3.
Moved on to the RaspberryPi + xbian (XBMC).
Thank you all for 2 great years and all your work to provide such fantastic firmware. Also a big thank you to the guys in the DD thread for all their ongoing support.
Good luck to all of you and perhaps we will see us in any Raspberry forum, cheers
