error with nzbget on webend

Postby desantes » Tue Jun 28, 2011 12:13 pm

hi there,
i tried to configurate my server settings for nzbget on the Webend.
But everytime when i push the button "save changes" i get this error displayed:

Warning: fopen(/etc/nzbget/nzbget.custom.conf) [function.fopen]: failed to open stream: Read-only file system in /usr/share/nzbgetweb/confgen.php on line 435

Notice: Could not open file /etc/nzbget/nzbget.custom.conf for writing in /usr/share/nzbgetweb/confgen.php on line 438

So, can anyone help me to solve this problem?

regards

Check the Wiki regarding how to configure the config file.

I already read the wiki before posting my question.
And i done the steps written in the wiki, but the problem is still that
i can´t change the permissions for the configfile "conf/nzbget.custom.conf ".
Is there a reason for that?

Your first post is referring to /etc/nzbget/nzbget.custom.conf and an error message for which the solution is in the Wiki - hence me pointing you to it. You can't do anything in /etc because this is a read-only area of the firmware.

Your second post is a totally different thing, as you are now referring to /conf/nzbget.custom.conf. What is the exact error message with that one? Also, please post the content of that file.

Ok first of all, sorry about the confusion.
The Error Message in my first post is the real Error Message, i got in the webend when i tried to configurate
the usenet server, which pointing to the /etc folder.

But in the wiki they´re always pointing to this directory/file /conf/nzbget.custom.conf,
which is not available on my wdtv. So whats wrong? What i dont understand?

Copy the file from /etc to /conf, and edit it there...

Are you navigating to nzbgetweb via a direct link? The config files should be copied into /conf automagically if NZBGET=ON at boot. You still haven't mentioned what version of what firmware you're running either.
