Hi, I'm using the file here:

on a WDTV Live v.0.4.3.1. I copied the file into /conf and created the S99user-script file with the mount -o bind command.

After reboot, if I check with a diff:

# diff youtubeHD.php /usr/share/webend/youtube-proxy/youtubeHD.php

The files are the same (no output), so the mount has to be correct. But I still see the "nVidia 1080P HD test PureVideo" in SD.

I tried to enable the logger command:

You can enable the debug line I left commented out in the code (the "logger" command). It will output to /tmp/messages.txt the quality index value, as well as the URL extracted from the fmt_url_map.

then I cleared out the /tmp/messages.txt (with echo "" > /tmp/messages.txt) and opened YouTube on the video.

Unfortunately, no debug info is written into the messages.txt file. I also tried to add a:

exec("logger -t YoutubeHD 'Started!'");

statement directly under "<?php" on the youtubeHD.php but no debug info is print out.

Why it doesn't work? Where am I wrong?

virtualdj: forgive me, but given your symptoms, I HAVE to ask. Are you SURE YOUTUBE_SWITCHER is set? (using the webend config is the best way to set/verify, IMHO)

I did make changes and everything seemed fine.

But maybe I'm in on a related problem. I have some playlists on my youtube account and access them from my WDTV Live Plus box. I have more than six playlists, so they go beyond the first page. Recently, I've noticed if I try to go the 2nd page (of Playlists), the youtube app says 'No Content' and just hangs. I have to click on the 'Home' button on the remote to get back to normalcy. Anyone else noticing this issue?

Can you tell me what an FTP client is? is that through SSH or telnet?
